An international IT consultancy in Utrecht is hiring a Data Engineer. As a consultant you build modern data platforms for reporting, analytics and AI at client sites, working alongside data scientists, AI engineers and architects. What you will do: - Design, build and run scalable data platforms, from source to end product - Integrate and transform data from many sources - Set up data warehouse and lakehouse architectures with Kimball and Data Vault - Build datasets for dashboards, machine learning and AI - Work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Snowflake - Advise clients on architecture, integrations and technical choices What you bring: - At least four years of experience as a data engineer - Strong SQL and Python, hands-on with ETL, ELT and data pipelines - Knowledge of Azure data services and data modelling - Experience with CI/CD and DevOps; Infrastructure as Code is a plus - You explain technical choices clearly, in excellent Dutch What you get: - Hybrid work - Training budget plus four study days a year - 27 days of leave, mobility allowance and pension
