Lead a new Data Office and roll out data governance at an organisation in the energy market.
An organisation in the energy market is building its Data Office and needs a manager to lead it. You set up data governance across the company and advise the CIO and the board on data strategy. The role is based in the province of Utrecht, with hybrid working.
What you will do:
- Lead the Data Office, which is still relatively new, and embed data governance across the organisation.
- Act as sparring partner for the CIO, the board and management.
- Balance interests among stakeholders, build support for change and turn policy into practice.
- Shape responsible AI adoption by making sure the data is reliable.
- Lead a team of data professionals and raise data maturity in the wider organisation.
What you bring:
- University-level thinking and working.
- At least ten years of experience in the data domain, including several years in a leadership role.
- A clear vision on data governance, data management and AI, and the ability to turn it into results.
- Inspiring leadership that helps people grow.
- Analytical sharpness and a feel for the organisation.
- A high level of Dutch.
