A telecom provider in Noord-Holland is hiring a manager for telecom engineering. You lead the mobile and the internet and TV teams, about 33 FTE in total. What you will do: - Lead the mobile and internet and TV engineering teams - Build one roadmap and backlog with the other telecom managers, and pick the highest-value work when demand exceeds capacity - Translate requests from marketing and sales, business development, e-commerce and customer operations into sprint work - Direct tech partners and watch the quality of what they deliver - Align on architecture and security, and make delivery more predictable - Join the telecom management team discussions on strategy and priorities What you bring: - Bachelor or master level (hbo or wo) thinking, shown by education or experience - At least 7 years in engineering, of which at least 3 years in a leading role - Telecom or a similar sector, with knowledge of ordering, activation, billing and self-service - Experience with partners and external teams, and with explaining technical choices in plain language - Fluent Dutch and experience in fast-changing environments What you get: - A salary based on a 40-hour week - A 13th month and 25 holiday days, with the option to buy 1.5 extra weeks - A pension plan with a high employer share - Hybrid working, half the week in the office, and a month a year fully remote - Discounts on company services
