Product Owner Accountancy Software in Utrecht, Netherlands

A software company builds reporting and planning software for accountants and their clients. It needs a Product Owner who knows accountancy from the inside. You take ownership of one of the core modules after an onboarding period. You are the link between users, the business and the development team. What you will do: - Carry the product vision and roadmap and explain the choices behind them. - Gather feedback from accountancy firms and act as contact for stakeholders. - Keep the backlog refined and ordered by value. - Turn practical accountancy questions into clear, testable user stories. - Work daily with developers, designers and the Scrum Master. - Check new releases with your professional eye and adjust where needed. - Follow market trends, regulation and competitors. What you bring: - Practical experience as an accountant or in the accountancy field. - The drive to move into product management in a software setting. - Strong communication between accountants, commercial colleagues and developers. - An analytical mind that decides on data and customer insight. - Scrum or Jira knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
