An IT services firm in Amsterdam is hiring a Senior Data Engineer. You design scalable cloud data platforms for clients and pass on your knowledge to colleagues. What you will do: - You design and build scalable data solutions in the cloud. - You make design decisions on architecture and tooling together with stakeholders. - You translate business requirements into working features. - You automate infrastructure and pipelines with CI/CD and Terraform. - You coach medior and junior engineers. What you bring: - At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer. - Strong programming skills in, among others, Python, Scala or Java. - Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of Kafka and streaming data processing. - University of applied sciences or university level and excellent Dutch.
