Lead a backend team that keeps an e-commerce platform for a large user base running.

An e-commerce company in North Brabant is hiring a team lead backend. Your team keeps the platform available at any time of day. This role is on-site, not remote, and requires fluent Dutch. You work 32 to 40 hours a week. What you will do: - Lead the backend team and be responsible for the application - Guide developers and projects, and encourage professional growth - Help with recruitment and join interviews with the recruiters - Monitor the quality of the team and prioritise backend work with the product owners - Contribute to the code bases, with a focus on PHP, and present demos to stakeholders What you bring: - At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably in a leading role - Good knowledge of OOP, MVC, PHP and MySQL, and experience with a framework such as Symfony - Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude - Fluent Dutch, spoken and written - A plus: affinity with AI What you get: - A salary that fits your experience, plus 8% holiday pay - A contract for 32 to 40 hours with a travel allowance from 10 km - 25 paid vacation days and a 50% employer-paid pension contribution - Partly working from home after onboarding - A weekly hackathon on Friday afternoons and lunch
