Lead a team of 12 hardware and embedded engineers at a consumer electronics company.

A consumer electronics company in South Holland is hiring a team lead for its hardware and embedded engineering team. The team has 12 engineers: 4 in hardware and 8 in embedded. You work on-site, 32 to 40 hours a week. What you will do: - Lead the multidisciplinary team with coaching, one-to-ones, direction, priorities and decisions - Build an open, collaborative team culture - Monitor planning, capacity, quality and technical progress - Take part in key design and development decisions - Align priorities with stakeholders, management and other teams, and help improve processes - Act as a key contact for the team and the wider organisation What you bring: - At least 8 years in technical engineering or R&D, including at least 3 years of people management - A technical bachelor or master degree, preferably with consumer electronics or IoT experience - A technical base strong enough to engage with experienced engineers - Fluent Dutch - A plus: experience with hardware development, PCB design or ESP firmware What you get: - A gross monthly salary in a stated range for a full-time week - Profit sharing and a pension with an employer contribution - 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance - Training, a laptop and company products to test - Daily lunch, fruit and regular team events
