An insurer in Zuid-Holland needs a data governance lead for its IT department. You are the central point of contact for data governance, data quality and data ownership. You build the framework that keeps critical data complete, accurate and up to date. What you will do: - Develop and improve a data governance framework based on regulator guidelines and DMBOK principles - Draw up policies, standards and processes for data management, data quality and metadata - Support and activate data stewards and guide working groups - Define and monitor data standards and data SLAs, and set up a new data catalogue - Work with IT, Compliance, Information Security, Risk and the data platform team, and report to senior management What you bring: - Bachelor or master degree, preferably in information management - At least 5 years in data management with a strong focus on data governance - Experience in a regulated environment, preferably insurance - Thorough knowledge of DMBOK and experience building governance frameworks in a complex organisation - Knowledge of cloud governance and data quality tooling; a Cdmp certification is a plus - Analytical and precise, able to bring stakeholders along through change What you get: - A salary between EUR 77,000 and 109,000 per year - Hybrid working - Development opportunities - Internal candidates get preference when equally suitable
