Handle motor and traffic damage claims for private clients, hybrid in the province of Utrecht.

An insurance group in the province of Utrecht is hiring a claims handler for traffic damage. You decide whether compensation is due and keep clients, advisers and repairers informed. What you will do: - Assess traffic damage claims and decide whether the insured is entitled to compensation - Handle claims professionally, balancing the interests of the customer and the company - Answer questions from insured parties, advisers, repairers, experts and other insurers - Manage your own agenda and set priorities across your files - Take turns on phone duty with colleagues - Grow towards complex cases, with experienced colleagues supporting you What you bring: - Vocational or bachelor level (mbo or hbo) working and thinking level, with some insurance experience - Willingness to obtain, or already holding, the Dutch insurance diplomas Wft Basis, Schade particulier, Schade zakelijk and Assurantie A - Comfort on the phone, friendly and empathetic - The ability to reconstruct a traffic situation from a file and apply traffic rules - Pleasure in administrative work and good overview What you get: - 32 to 40 hours a week - A 13th month and 27 holiday days - Free lunch at the office and insurance discounts - A good pension scheme - Hybrid working with a home working allowance - Online learning and onboarding with an experienced claims handler
