Assess private insurance applications and decide on acceptance at an insurance service organisation.
An insurance service organisation in the province of Utrecht is hiring a private insurance underwriter for 32 to 40 hours a week. You assess applications, decide on acceptance and support intermediaries. You work hybrid.
What you will do:
- Assess private insurance applications, analyse the risk and decide to accept or reject
- Stay in contact with intermediaries and authorised agents, answer questions and support them
- Process changes and policy applications in the administration systems
- Take part in internal improvement projects and tests
- Coordinate with colleagues and share knowledge
What you bring:
- A vocational or bachelor diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role
- The Wft Basis and Schade Particulier certificates, or the willingness to obtain them right away
- An accurate, customer-focused and solution-oriented way of working
- A proactive attitude and a habit of thinking two steps ahead
