A business insurance organisation in the province of Utrecht needs a team manager for its claims service team. The team of about 20 professionals serves advisers and insurers on claims. You are visible, involved and directive, and you help people take ownership. Hybrid working is possible. What you will do: - Lead and coach a team of about 20 professionals. - Steer on quality, productivity and workload distribution. - Hold conversations about performance, development and absence. - Identify process improvements with the team. - Translate organisational goals into concrete actions for the team. - Work closely with the claims manager, other team managers and other departments. What you bring: - Bachelor's level of working and thinking. - Experience in insurance, preferably in property and casualty. - Experience coaching, guiding or leading colleagues. - Clear, approachable communication. - A calm, structured and directive style, especially during change. - Results focus, with attention to people and the organisation. - Interest in process improvement and change programmes. - The Wft Basis and Wft Schade Zakelijk certificates, or the willingness to obtain them.
