Lead a logistics team in a new, largely automated warehouse at a manufacturer in Zuid-Holland.
A growing manufacturer in Zuid-Holland needs a logistics team leader. You take ultimate responsibility for a team with varied work in a new, largely automated warehouse. You report to the logistics director. You can still shape how the logistics organisation is professionalised.
What you will do:
- Lead the logistics team: two coordinators directly and about 20 logistics employees indirectly.
- Coach your team, and be direct when needed.
- Bring calm and structure to daily operations in the automated warehouse.
- Spot improvements and work with the team to make operations more efficient.
- Contribute to later building phases and the professionalisation of logistics.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's level of working and thinking.
- Several years of leadership experience in a similar role at a growing manufacturer.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and keep an overview.
- Availability full-time, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- A home within 45 minutes of the site.
- Fluent Dutch.
- Experience with projects or IT implementations is a plus.
