First HR contact for a production organisation, advising managers on absence, hiring and talent.
A manufacturer in Zuid-Holland is hiring an HR advisor for its production organisation. You are the first HR contact for managers and employees on the shop floor.
What you will do:
- Be the first HR contact for the production organisation
- Advise managers on recruitment, absence, performance, talent development and sustainable employability
- Arrange staffing, keep contact with temporary staffing agencies and hold interviews
- Run onboarding of new colleagues together with managers
- Manage absence cases and HR data, and spot ways to reduce absence
- Turn HR policy into practical solutions for the shop floor
What you bring:
- Bachelor level (hbo) working and thinking level, preferably with an HR background
- 2 to 5 years of broad HR experience and the drive to take more independence
- Knowledge of absence guidance and employment law
- Empathy, and the ability to set clear boundaries and hold people to agreements
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Experience in a production environment is a plus
