Senior Test Engineer for a consumer platform with web and mobile apps, Noord-Brabant region. About the organisation A Dutch platform with millions of active members and tens of thousands of partners in four countries. Everything is built in-house: web, apps and backend, with short lines between development, product and the business. What you will do - Define the risk-based test strategy for new and existing functionality and guard quality up to release - Review requirements, functional designs and acceptance criteria before anything is built - Automate regression tests in a BDD setup (Gherkin, Cucumber or SpecFlow) and keep the suite maintainable - Test APIs and integrations with SoapUI or Postman and verify data directly in the database with SQL - Demo new functionality to users, non-technical colleagues and clients - Coach testers and developers and be the go-to person for quality in the team What you bring - Over ten years of experience testing complex administrative or business-critical systems - Experience with test automation (Selenium, SpecFlow or Cucumber) and API testing - Good SQL knowledge and tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Xray - You explain technical matters clearly to a non-technical audience - TMap, ISTQB or SAFe is a plus What you get - A permanent senior role with influence on how testing is done - Hybrid working, office easy to reach by train - A competitive salary matching seniority, plus good benefits
