Advise ministries, regulators, pension funds and insurers on data governance, from strategy to implementation.

A European transformation consultancy is hiring a Data Governance Consultant. You work for the public sector, pension funds and insurers. You do not advise from a distance: you stay with the client until it works. What you will do: - Advise boards and CDOs on data governance and turn data strategy into a working approach - Set up data ownership and define the roles of data owners and data stewards - Design data policies and governance frameworks that fit privacy, security and ethics - Lead workshops on data definitions, ownership and data quality - Work with colleagues in change management, enterprise architecture, security and privacy - Build client relationships and help win new assignments What we ask: - Bachelor or master, for example business administration, public administration, information management or business analytics - 3 to 7 years of experience as a consultant, advisor or specialist in data, for example as data steward, data officer or policy advisor - Knowledge of DMBOK and the ability to apply it - Experience with Power BI, Databricks and Microsoft Azure - Fluent Dutch and good English - A plus: TOGAF or SAFe, and a network in the public sector What we offer: - 4,000 to 5,000 euro gross per month, plus variable pay - Pension, mobility scheme and hybrid working - Coaching by partners and early ownership of projects
